FRAME OPTIONS

High-density commercial pistol racking on the Citadel tube-frame module. Rubber over-moulded, trigger-guard-specific cradles in shelf rows of six, each with integrated 12 magazine holders beneath. 96 pistols per module, 192 in the standard two-tier Unit. Ships fully assembled.

Full description:

Every pistol seats in its own rubber over-moulded, trigger-guard-specific cradle — never bare steel, never a generic hook. Cradles are arranged in shelf rows of six, each row backed by a 12-slot magazine Holders, so spare mags live with the firearm instead of in a separate bin across the room. The frame is a welded tube-and-panel module — 1200mm H x 1200mm L x 400mm D, faced with the cross-perforated Paladin Armoury pegboard system — built to stack, gang side-by-side, and connect back-to-back so a single starter column and a full room bank are the same building block.

Key Features

  • Rubber over-moulded, trigger-guard-specific cradles — protects finish, supports each pistol by design
  • Shelf rows of 6 pistols, each with a 12 magazine insert tray built in
  • 96 pistols per module, 192 per standard two-tier Unit (1200 x 1200 x 400mm per module)
  • Ships fully assembled — plug-and-play, freestanding on arrival, clears a standard doorway and loads into a van or container without disassembly
  • Bolts side-by-side, back-to-back, and stacks vertically — expanding masonry bolts and connecting bolts supplied
  • Made to order — row layout adapted to your handgun mix and site

Configuration options

  • Open — pegboard back panel only, no sides. Freestanding / bump-cage.
  • Side panels — laser-cut, cross-perforated branded infill, no doors.
  • Security cabinet — side panels plus pin-lockable bifold doors, for individually auditable, access-controlled sections within a shared strongroom.
  • Add-ons — plywood table top, castor wheels.

Why Paladin

Most competitor shelving sells magazine storage as a separate accessory. Paladin builds it in: every pistol shelf carries its own mag tray, so a store, range, or armoury isn't buying and mounting a second product to shelve what it already owns. At roughly 200 pistols per square metre of floor, this is the densest storage in the Citadel range — the difference between a room that needs expanding and one that doesn't, on a budget line that's measured in cost per square metre either way. Designed and manufactured in South Africa, made to order, with local lead times and local support behind every module.

Designed For Walk-in safes • Armouries — commercial, police, and military • Private security depots • Mobile and portable installations • Shipping containers

Important This unit is a racking and retention system, not a standalone safe. It is designed for installation inside a SABS 953-1 or SABS 953-2 compliant safe or strongroom and does not itself constitute a certified security enclosure. The security cabinet's locking doors provide internal access control and compartmentalisation within an already-secured space, not an independent compliance boundary.
